Kindergarten
The official registration period for a place at a municipal kindergarten is from 1 November until 31 December.
School system
Compulsory schooling lasts for nine years and applies to all children whose main place of residence is in Austria.

The Wiener Lernhilfe programme offers free supplementary tutoring for about 10,000 pupils in German, English and mathematics.
