Initiative "Understanding school - German and more”
Navigating the Austrian school system can be challenging for families who have just arrived from another country. They are the target group of the new initiative “Unterstanding school – German and more”. It is part of the Wiener Lernhilfe programme and combines language tuition for parents and children with practice-oriented information on daily life at schools in Vienna, thus supporting the entire family.

Pupil can stay until all their questions have been answered, and even switch between different subjects on the same day.
