You can call for action from the Vienna City Council by creating a petition and gathering signatures all over Vienna. If a petition receives 500 signatures, it is debated in the Vienna City Council Committee on Petitions and will receive a response from the Committee.

The Vienna City Council Committee on Petitions provides the public with information about committee meeting dates, minutes of committee meetings, and annual reports on past petitions.
On the "Wien mitgestalten" participation platform, you can participate in political decision-making processes and projects such as participatory budgeting in the districts or have your say, submit ideas and decide on projects in the Vienna Climate Team.
Unlike petitions from the public, topics are pre-defined on the participation platform but there are more ways to get involved in a project.
