Gender mainstreaming in practice

Equality of women and men must come to bear at several levels simultaneously: in politics, in business, on the labour market, in public health and housing, in education, law and mobility, in the context of protection against violence in public and in the home, as well as with communal services, such as childcare, care for the elderly or when designing pavements.
