Vienna Ice Dream

People skating on the ice rink in front of Vienna City Hall

The Vienna Ice Dream in front of Vienna City Hall has been a fixed point in Vienna’s calendar of events for many years. From 19 January to 6 March 2022, visitors can enjoy ice skating on an ice rink on two storeys in the size of about 9,500 square metres. The absolute highlight is the ice-skating Dream Path through the Rathauspark.
For those who do not own ice skates, there are pairs available for rental on site. In addition, free helmets as well as double blade ice skates for children can be borrowed.

Please take note of current Covid regulations! Guests of the Vienna Ice Dream need to submit proof that they are vaccinated or recovered (2G) and have to register, which they can also do online. FFP2 face masks are mandatory except on the ice rink. Please buy your tickets online if at all possible to avoid long queues in front of the ticket counters. You get a ten percent discount if you buy your tickets online. However, there are ticket counters as well as ticket vending machines on location if you prefer to buy your tickets in person. The tickets are valid for 4 hours from the time you first step on the ice rink.
