Virtual City Hall Tour: a 360-degree tour of the City Hall

The free online tours provide the convenient opportunity to explore the City Hall from home. Some rooms are presented that cannot be visited during the regular City Hall tours, for example the Red Saloon (Roter Salon) or the City Hall tower (Rathausturm). The virtual tour is available in English and German.

After a welcome message by the Viennese mayor, the virtual tour starts in the arcade courtyard (Arkadenhof). It is possible to move freely through the digital, three-dimensional reproduction of the City Hall with a computer mouse, keyboard or touchscreen. Many unique features of the building and its history are explained by text, video and conversed descriptions.

The guided virtual City Hall tour will automatically take you through the virtual City Hall with an audio guide. Single sections can be repeated or skipped on-demand. The selection of single highlights is also possible.
