Diversity management is a comprehensive management approach that has been increasingly applied by public authorities in the past decade. It focuses on showing appreciation for all customers in the same way and on benefitting from the diversity of the staff and their competencies and skills. Diversity management also considers the organisational structure of a department and adapts it accordingly.
