The 12th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF 12) was held in Cairo from 4 to 8 November 2024. Over 13,000 participants from 180 different countries participated in the session convened by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), with city representatives showcasing their concepts for smart, sustainable urban policies.

Focusing on the topic "Housing in Europe - Truly leaving no-one behind", Woller outlined the sustainable social housing policy Vienna has implemented for the past 100 years. He shared a panel with Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN Habitat. "Vienna's answers to global urban challenges are always received with special interest at international conferences. I feel privileged to represent the world's most liveable city at major networking events like this", Woller emphasised.
