Film shows milestones of the LIFE+ Alte Donau Project

A film team accompanied the project LIFE+ Alte Donau for one year. The resulting film provides an insight into the practical implementation of integrated water resource management.

Video: LIFE+ Alte Donau. Together for the Old Danube

A 20-minute documentary illustrates the key measures and project steps implemented from autumn 2014 to summer 2016. The four-year project focuses on the approach of integrated water resource management, which consists in developing and coordinating packages of measures. The short documentary shows some of the milestones in this context, including the lakebed biological filter, shore areas in the Donaufeld area, or the popular public bathing area "ArbeiterInnenstrand".

Beyond documenting the project's progress, the film features impressive nature shots and interesting facts about the history and development of the urban lake Alte Donau.
