EU-Project "Daphne for families. Fit for life."

Protecting children, providing services for families

The trans-national local support programme "Daphne for families" focuses on preventing violence against and abuse of children in families.

The supply addresses itself to "normal" families and parents that try to realize a conscious parenthood. "Normal" in our terminology describes several forms of living together.

Society often handles problems like rage, anger, overcharge, extreme reactions to stress as an individual failure or a pathologic reaction, that has nothing to do with society and "normal" live. Occurring problems like the described one often become family secrets and are ignored for a longer time. Live crises or conflicts in partnership or job are sometimes the last touch that let emotions explode. Children are mostly the most affected of such crises.

Normal family live is not an area of harmony, it includes conflicts and crisis as mentioned before. Consciousness and good enough parenthood is characterized by responsibility and places itself to these questions. Our project points at this fact.
