Adult Education

Young man studying Adult education constitutes the third pillar in the Austrian education system. Offer and objectives in this area are manifold. There is a wide range of courses including general education, language courses, courses leading to university entrance or other secondary education final examinations, vocational training, as well as management courses and courses on personality formation. Adult education is provided by various institutions, such as the labour market exchange, businesses associations and non-profit adult education institutes borne by interest representations, regional authorities and churches.
