General requirements
Overview of events requiring registration or a licence (German)
Please note that a special licence is required for cinemas and public viewing of films, videos and slides.
Documents required
- Legal persons: official certificate proving the name of the legal person and names of authorised persons,
- Documents of the organisers and/or authorised managing directors: valid official photo identification, for EU citizens: valid passport, or residence registration certificate
- For authorised persons: power of attorney,
- Description and/or programme of the event (e.g. folder, poster, et cetera)

Public hours (for personal visits: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 noon; opening hours of the event centre (room 420): Mondays to Wednesdays from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm, Thursdays from 7.30 am to 5 pm.
Fees
The fees are payable upon conclusion of the procedure and are as follows:
Submission of the application
- Federal fee of EUR 43.60 (natural person (individual) or sole trader)
- Federal fee of EUR 56.80 (legal person or private company)
- Federal fee of EUR 3.60 for enclosures per sheet
- Federal fee of EUR 13.20 for waiver of judicial remedies
- Federal fee of EUR 13.20 for extension of closing hour or duration of event
Issuing of the official notification
- Federal fee of EUR 77 for the issuing of the official notification
- Licence for an event
- Issued for a natural person (individual) or a sole trader:
- Administrative charge of EUR 13.44 (maximum capacity for up to 500 persons)
- Administrative charge of EUR 26.88 (maximum capacity for up to 700 persons)
- Administrative charge of EUR 53.77 (maximum capacity for more than 700 persons)
- Issued for a legal person or private company:
- Administrative charge of EUR 20.16 (maximum capacity for up to 500 persons)
- Administrative charge of EUR 40.32 (maximum capacity for up to 700 persons)
- Administrative charge of EUR 80.65 (maximum capacity for more than 700 persons)
- Issued for a natural person (individual) or a sole trader:
- Cinema licence or licence for the public viewing of films, videos, slides:
- Administrative charge of EUR 44.69 (licence issued for an individual – capacity of 100 seats)
- Administrative charge of EUR 55.86 (licence issued for a company/association - capacity 100 seats) (Please note that you only pay half the fee if the licence is issued for a duration of up to one year.)
- Administrative charge of EUR 7.26 (if official closing times are extended for up to three days)
- Administrative charge of EUR 49.05 (if official closing times are extended for more than three days)
