Dance teacher examination - application

General requirements

Documentation proving three years of training and sufficient practical experience.

Documents required

Copies of the following documents must be provided:

Valid official photo documentation or valid travel document for EU citizens
Birth certificate
Certificate of citizenship
Residence registration certificate
Certificate showing the successful completion of a three-year course at a dance teacher academy
Documentation proving at least three years of work experience as a dance teacher in one or more commercially operated dance schools
Proof of the payment of the examination fee

The examination fee for 2012 is EUR 234 and must be paid to the following account:

You must have proof of payment of the examination fee at the time of application.

Filing fees

Federal fee: EUR 13.20
Federal fee per page of attachment: EUR 3.60

Processing fees

Administrative fee for the admission: EUR 6.54
Federal fee for the certificate: EUR 13.20
Administrative fee for a copy of the certificate: EUR 1.81

Deadline

The application for admission to the examination must be filed with MA 36 - Section K no later than six weeks before the date of the examination.

The three years of practical experience can be acquired at more than one dance school; however, if the applicant has worked at two dance schools during the same time period, the time is only counted once.
